Library is the heart of an Institution. Vasubandhu Library is the central library system of CIHCS, Dahung. The Library is named after a great Buddhist Scholar ‘Vasubandhu’ who was an influential Buddhist Monk and Scholar and the key personage in the founding of the Yogacara philosophy. Vasubandhu became a major Mahayana master, scholar and debater. Vasubandhu Library has been functioning since the inception of the Institute in the year 2003.On the 13th Nov.2013 the first Librarian has been appointed for this library on regular basis. The library is using the SLIM21 library software for library automation and it has a reading room for students and teachers. Internet and photocopying facilities are also provided to the users.

Rules of lending books –
a) The privilege of borrowing books from the library is restricted to the registered members only.
b) Each member will have a Readers Ticket according to the category to which he/she belongs to.
