INTRODUCTION

1. As per the Academic, Administrative and other requirements to pursue and further the objectives of the Society, different categories of Faculties, Departments and Posts shall be created from time to time.
   
   

2. Following Faculties and the Departments shall be constituted in due course and the existing Departments shall be made the integral part of relevant Faculties as discussed in this chapter hereunder:
   

Faculty of Adhyatma evam Hetu Vidya

The Faculty shall co-ordinate and control the studies in Ancient Indian Buddhist Studies from Pali, Sanskrit and Bhoti sources/ texts and Ancient Indian Buddhist Logic preserved in Bhoti Language. Following Departments shall be constituted /incorporated under the Faculty of Adhyatma evam Hetu Vidya:

1. Department of Bhot Bauddha Darshan
2. Department of Theravada Darshan
3. Department of Sanskrit Bauddha Darshan

Faculty of Shabda Vidya

The Faculty shall co-ordinate and control the studies in Sanskrit, Bhoti, Pali and Modern Indian Language and Literature.
Following Departments shall be constituted /integrated under the Faculty of Shabda Vidya:

1. Department of Sanskrit
2. Department of Bhoti
3. Department of Pali
4. Department of English
5. Department of Hindi

Faculty of Bhot Chikitsa Vidya

The Faculty shall co-ordinate and control the studies in Ancient Indian Ayurveda and Jyotisha preserved in Bhoti Language and its further enrichment based on authentic original source materials.
Following Departments shall be constituted /integrated under the Faculty of Chikitsa Vidya:

1. Department of Himalayan Ayurveda (Sowa Rigpa)
2. Department of Himalayan Jyotisha (Tsee)

Faculty of Shilpa Vidya

The Faculty shall co-ordinate and control the studies in Ancient Indian Arts, such as Sculpture, Painting, Architecture, various crafts and performing arts, preserved in texts and traditions of Eastern Himalayan region and their further enrichment.
Following Departments shall be constituted /integrated under the Faculty of Shilpa Vidya:

1. Department of Himalayan Arts and Crafts
2. Department of Himalayan Performing Arts
