With the passage of time many changes has occurred in all walk of life which off course has made our life easier than before but at the same time it is also evident that life became more complex. As change is inevitable therefore in order to cope up with the change positively a deep contemplation of past and present is necessary because juxtaposition of past and present is the characteristic of modernism. As T.S. Eliots says, “The past should be altered by the present as much as the present is directed by the past.” Thus, the present proposed lecture series has been delimited to some of the issues which are prominent and significant at present scenario of contemporary world. Besides it will enable academicians and experts of various fields from different part of the county to come together and share their ideas and vision. On the other hand it will also serve as a platform for the faculties and the students who are working and studying in this hilly state to streamline with the mainland, to promote national integration and enlighten themselves for better tomorrow.
